Before receiving massage services please read>>. Make sure you are cleared from your health care provider if any of the following " Total contraindications" for massage apply. Meaning you can not receive services if you have; broken bones, cold or fever, contagious disease, including COVID 19, within 14 days been in contact with someone with COVID 19, skin disease, under the influence of drugs or alcohol and if you are pregnant in the first trimester. Local contraindications which do not prevent you from receiving massage include; varicose veins, undiagnosed or diagnosed lumps or bumps, pregnancy, bruising, cuts, abrasions, sunburn, undiagnosed pain and inflammation, including arthritis. If you are aware of a local contraindication please share that information with your massage therapist. Medical Contraindications include; cardio-vascular conditions, any condition already being treated, psoriasis or eczema, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, cancer, nervous or psychotic conditions, epilepsy, diabetes, bell's palsy, trapped or pinched nerves and infections. Please clear massage with your health care provider and bring or email a note from your physician before receiving massage, if you have a medical contraindication.
